2017 This Way That Way

2017 This Way That Way

50% Grenache, 50% Mourvèdre

With co-fermentation, two or more grape varieties are fermented together in the same vat. This Way That Way takes 50/50 Grenache and Mourvèdre co-fermentations from both James Berry Vineyard and MAHA Estate and blends them into a 100% awesome wine. It offers an ethereal concoction of treble and bass. An intriguing brooding magenta color lures you in for an explosion of scents that jump starts one’s olfactory system. A Tangiers market comes to mind with scents of exotic spices, grilled meats, fresh flowers, clementines, hashish and musk. The palate is textural and concentrated offering a finish that goes on for days. This is SO delicious!!! Drink 2020-2028.

"Checking in as an even split of Grenache and Mourvedre from the MAHA Estate Vineyard and James Berry Vineyard, the 2017 This Way That Way has a meaty, spicy style as well as lots of blueberry and cherry fruit, notes of ground pepper and violets, full-bodied richness, beautiful tannins, and a great finish. It's straight-up classy and just a stunning wine from this estate. It should easily evolve for a decade as well."     97 pts. Jeb Dunnuck
