2021 Roussanne
100% Roussanne. The sum of the parts can often be greater than the whole. In this case, the blending of James Berry and MAHA does just that. The older vines of James Berry bring texture and a riper stone fruit component while the younger MAHA vines offer a more tropical and energetic profile. A seductive 24k gold color catches your eye and draws you in. Aromas of pineapple, grilled stone fruits, and limestone transition to a palate that is full in body offering notes of peaches and apricots drizzled with MAHA honey atop a savory shortbread cookie. Amazing definition and texture come together on the finish to have you coming back for more. While showing well now, it will continue to develop and gain complexity for at least a decade. Drink 2023-2035
"Honeyed flowers, quince, brioche, and chalky mineral notes all emerge from the 2021 Roussanne, a beautifully textured, medium to full-bodied Roussanne that will spend 20 months in 40% new French oak. It's another richer styled, impeccably made white from Paso Robles with tons to love."

2021 High Road
40% Syrah, 38% Grenache, 22% Mourvedre. This is the 20th anniversary of this wine and out of the chute has the potential to be one of the best to date! Dark and brooding in color one might think this is not a friendly creature. As you approach, the aromatics are quite the contrary. Dark fruits, smoked meats and sweet oak quickly say “hello friend”. The palate is generous with a melange of plums, boysenberries, purple flowers, and spice. Texturally stunning, with finely integrated tannins and just the right amount of tension. While built for the long haul, it currently is open for business. This one won’t last long, so get while the gettin’s good! Drink 2023-2040
"One of the flagships from this terrific property is the 2021 High Road James berry Vineyard, which is based on 40% Syrah, 38% Grenache, and 22% Mourvèdre. Ripe blackberries, darker cherries, licorice, ground pepper, and loamy earth are just some of its nuances, and it's full-bodied, concentrated, and balanced, with both ripe tannins and integrated acidity."
