This is the last two 500 liter puncheons of this magical elixer. Four years in oak have created a High Road that has never been seen before. This is the longest any of the Villa Creek wines have spent in barrel and it has created a wine of great complexity and finesse. This wine welcomes you with a dark ruby color in the glass. Notes of bacon fat, cinnamon and anise lead to a silky old world palate. Texture and minerals, cola, red fruit confiture and smoked meats are seamlessly integrated and keep on giving.
